ORDERS

For all orders minus Wedding Cakes, a minimum of 3 weeks notice is required and last minute orders will not be accepted. 

Orders must be placed through the website or via contact@thebombaybandits.com, social media contact will not be acceptable for order placement. Any cake that is purchased is a unique creation and we will not accept any pictures from other bakers’ work to replicate as we have a different style to other cake designers and respect their work. 

50% non refundable deposit is due up to 2 weeks prior to delivery and the remaining balance is due up to 2 days prior to delivery. Cash is not accepted. All payments are to be made online or via paypal.

WEDDING CAKES

For wedding cake orders, a minimum of 4 months notice is required. We do not accept orders for tall wedding cakes featuring more than 4 stacked tiers, 4+ tiers to be standalone are acceptable. Please email contact@thebombaybandits.com to check for availability and begin the consultation process. Once the order is confirmed the payment process is as such: 

50% non refundable deposit is due 3 months prior to the delivery date

Remaining 50% is due 1 week prior to the delivery date.

All payments must be made online or via Paypal and cash is not accepted.

CANCELLATION & CHARGES

In the event of cancellation, the 50% non refundable deposit will not be returned. If you need to cancel your order we require a minimum of 2 weeks notice and will not accept cancellations at the last minute or within 1.5 weeks. If you need to reschedule your delivery date, we will need a minimum of 1 week's notice. 

If a cancellation is placed without 2 weeks notice you will be liable to pay for all ingredients & additional pieces purchased for your order and the full order amount will be charged. 

Changes to the size of your order (e.g. cake size) can not be made if your delivery date is within 2 weeks without a charge of £30.00 and your order fee being increased to match the new requirements. See prices on our website.

DELIVERY

We charge for delivery and it is charged as follows:

£2.00 per mile from Berkshire

This is charged on top of your final order fee. 

Collections are not available. 

Cake Stands & Equipment hired from us for your Wedding Day must be returned and will be labelled appropriately. These items must be returned up to 2 days after your event. Failure to do so will result in a charge submitted to you and payable within 14 days.

This charge will be illustrated on your quote

Cake Stands: failure to return start from £20.00

Other: failure to return start from £50.00

STORAGE

Cakes & Cupcakes should be stored in a cool place if being used the same day or preferably stored in the fridge and removed 1-2 hours before use. Cakes stored correctly will usually last 5 days or they can be sliced and wrapped in cling film and stored in the freezer for up to a month. 

Brownies & Cookies must be stored in an airtight container or the box they came in and not placed in the fridge. These will usually last up to 2-3 days after delivery. These can also be wrapped & stored in the freezer for up to a month.
